This small, one man shop is operated by myself, John Atkins.

I was born and raised on Prince Edward Island. After graduating from Holland College’s School of Visual Arts in 1991, I went on to live and work in several Provinces before returning to P.E.I. to start a family and open my own shop in 1998.

I focus primarily on singular custom pieces for the public, but I also produce a line of Windsor chairs and

benches which have found homes all over North America. Along with furniture pieces, I have also worked on projects including; group awards, craft items, as well as residential and commercial spaces. Although I operate a one man shop I have also had the opportunity to collaborate with several other Artisans on larger jobs.

Most projects involve several consultations with the client to choose just the right style, material and finish. This process insures that you get exactly what you want in a

piece that will last for many generations.
